The first comment from Mane after his absence from the World Cup in Qatar
Senegalese Sadio Mane, Bayern Munich star, sent a message to the fans of his country, before facing the Netherlands, tomorrow, Monday, in the 2022 World Cup.
Mane was left out of his country's World Cup squad due to an injury he sustained during the German Bundesliga match between Bayern and Hertha Berlin.
Mane posted, on his Instagram account, a picture of him in the Senegal shirt, and wrote on it: "Good evening, everyone. I am sending you messages of support after my injury."
He added, "Thank God, my surgery in the middle of the week went well, and I want to take the opportunity to show my appreciation to all of you."
He continued, "Tomorrow our country will compete in the Qatar World Cup 2022. I am sure that Senegal will bypass all its matches and deal with it as a real end."
He concluded, "I am convinced that all Senegalese will be in front of the screen to support and encourage our national team. I am convinced that my colleagues will fight as one man as they always do. Long live Senegal."
