Oil Minister Emphasizes Need to Increase Production of Kirkuk Fields

Oil Minister Bassem Mohammed Khadir al-Abadi discussed on Thursday the development of the four Kirkuk oil fields. The minister stressed the need to increase oil production and enhance gas investment to meet the country's needs. The minister chaired the fourth meeting of the joint administration for the development project of the Bai Hassan, Jambur, Khbaz, and Kirkuk fields. The minister emphasized the importance of adhering to safety, health, and environmental standards, and achieving zero accident rate.
