It also affirmed that it retains the legal right to pursue those spreading false information that harms the security institution.

The head of the Federal Public Service Council, Muhyi Radi al-Qazwini, had previously stated the existence of these numbers, without providing evidence or official documents to support his claims.

The financial oversight context raises these statements questions about the effectiveness of salary oversight in the public sector, especially given repeated talk of employee number inflation and the presence of fictitious names on payrolls.
