The Meteorological Authority expects continued rise in temperatures in Iraq

The General Authority for Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring expected the continuation of hot summer weather throughout Iraq on Wednesday, with high temperatures during the day and relative moderation during night hours.

The authority, in a statement, indicated that the weather will be clear and sunny in all areas of the country, with temperatures similar to those recorded yesterday, Tuesday.

It noted that the weather will be hot to extremely hot during daytime hours, especially around noon, while the weather tends to be relatively moderate during the early morning hours and at night.

The authority did not specify the expected temperatures for each region, but it confirmed the continuation of the heat wave that the country has been experiencing for days.

The continued rise in temperatures raises questions about the government measures taken to alleviate the effects of the heat wave on citizens, especially given the frequent power outages in some areas.
